What does the treatment involve?

At your first appointment, we take some time to discuss the treatment with you and find out your ideal results. We try to work out the cause of your tooth discolouration and let you know how long it will take to achieve a whiter, brighter smile.

We take digital images and impressions of your teeth so your whitening trays can be made to fit perfectly, ensuring comfort while you whiten. We make sure we take a good ‘before’ image so we can easily compare to your newly white smile after treatment has finished.

When your trays are ready, we demonstrate how to add the whitening gel and insert them properly into your mouth. They work in a similar way to a mouthguard, with a snug fit over your teeth. You need to wear the trays at home, for the amount of time each day as advised by your dentist, for 2-4 weeks. We supervise your treatment and we’re always here to help if you need us.
